A second run in. Read a snippet from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #MPreg #PNR #MMromance #newrelease

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all of you who visited my post last weekend! I'm continuing with more BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN, an MPreg MM Shifter Pop Star Romance. This story is now available in digital and print at Amazon. And I'm hosting a release contest. Find that at the bottom of this post.

Set-up: Last weekend, Kish took a delivery to Adan Records in Shifter Towers and met Conn there. Of course, the wolf shifter intimidated him. But, is all lost for the bunny shifter?

Once again, I'm skipping several sentences to get to the part where Kish is exiting the elevator, ready to leave Shifter Towers. (Creatively edited from published version to fit the ten sentence limit)

As soon as the doors opened, I plowed right out, anxious to leave the den of predators behind, return the delivery bags, and finally grab something to eat.

Smack!

I groaned, having hit someone very solid. Twice in one week; not good odds.

“Hey.” Strong hands gripped my shoulders. “Promise me you won’t shift again.”

Fuck! I dared a glance up, meeting TK’s gaze. “I’m sorry, I’m really sorry...I should watch where I’m going, I really should.”

Bunny Omega on the Run
Shifter Towers book one

As a pop star, I never expected to find true love.

Not in a world where everything is temporary and often fake. But then he ran into me. Not once, but twice. My tiger instantly recognized him as my mate. Now, I just have to convince Kish that what we have is real.

The oldest of ten kids, I saw what my mother went through after my father left. After that, I started taking blockers so I would never go into heat, never have kids. Because love was for the weak. And I was doing just fine on my own.

Then I met TK. Literally smacked right into him. But no matter how much I wanted it to be true, I refused to believe that he could love a bunny shifter from the wrong part of town.

Bunny Omega on the Run is a super sweet with knotty heat MM mpreg shifter popstar romance. It is book 1 of the Shifter Towers series but can be read as a standalone.

A bunny and a tiger playing in a field. Read an excerpt from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #MPreg #PNR #MMromance

Hello! Today I have the last piece of chapter one from Bunny Omega on the Run, an MPreg MM Shifter Pop Star Romance with a cute bunny omega and a sexy tiger alpha. This story releases tomorrow!! If you missed them, you can find Monday's excerpt here, Tuesday's excerpt here, and Wednesday's excerpt here. I hope you've enjoyed them!

Chapter One

TK

Crouching down into pouncing position, I eyed the little brown lop bunny a hundred yards ahead. He was nibbling on the grass, one ear down and one stubborn ear half up, as if he had no idea a predator had him in its sights. I waited a few more moments admiring his shiny fur, his nose, ears, and feet a darker shade than the rest of him. Beautiful, really.

After swaying my back end, I sprung from my hiding spot then pounced when I reached the bunny. He jumped in between my front paws then raced away again. I chased him this time, bounding around from one side to the other to make him keep changing directions. Then he did an about-face and came after me. I played along, dashing away from the determined bunny.

We played like this for a long time, until we were both out of breath. I stopped running and flopped onto my side, enjoying the cool breeze and hot sun at the same time. The bunny hopped over to me, lying against my chest. He looked good against the white, faintly-striped fur of my belly, like he was always meant to be there.

I shifted to my human form and stroked his silky coat. I scratched in between his ears then used my thumb and forefinger to rub the edges of his ear. One at a time. His back foot vibrated endlessly. And when he shifted, his foot was still shaking. I pulled him closer, and he cuddled into me. Just the two of us in a field under the sun.

Suddenly, the sun was blocked out. A dark figure stood above us. I couldn’t see any details of what he looked like. Just that he had a gun and was pointing it right at my bunny boy. I went to leap up, protect him, defend him, but the gunshot rang out too soon, the sound leaving a high-pitched buzz in my ears. The figure disappeared as fast as it had arrived, and I was left with my bunny boy bleeding from a hole in his chest. I covered the hole with our clothing that had been tossed to the side when we’d first shifted. But the shirt became soaked in his blood faster than I’d expected. I glanced around for someplace where I could get help for him. Yet, there was nothing. After scooping him into my arms, I bolted to the nearest road then the nearest town. I kept running until I found a hospital. Once inside, I realized it wasn’t a place that could help him. All the medical staff looked like the gunman who’d interrupted my video shoot. And his face filled every television screen in the place.

“There’s nothing you can do for him,” the man said. “He’s dead. Just as he was supposed to be.”

“No!” I dropped to my knees, crying over his limp body. “We just met. I don’t even know your name.”

A loud wail blared over the hospital speakers. It wouldn’t relent, kept going off, getting louder and louder.

That’s when I woke up, realizing the sound was my alarm. I turned it off then took a few deep breaths to calm my racing heart. My throat was sore, and the corners of my eyes were crusty from dried tears. The dream had felt so real. And I wanted it to be real. The first part anyway. I don’t know why that bunny omega had such an impact on me. I was a tiger alpha, not supposed to associate with any type of rodent unless they worked for my label. And even then, Conn made sure they knew their place, threatened to eat them the next time he shifted.

My phone vibrated on the bedside table. I picked it up to see several messages from Conn. All asking me when I was going to show up for the second day of the music video shoot. Then the phone rang in my hand.

“Hello?”

“TK, where the fuck are you? You were supposed to be here half an hour ago.” I could hear his wolf growl through the speaker.

“I don’t need to be there waiting around while the crew gets everything set up. We discussed this yesterday.” Though Conn hadn’t been happy about it then.

“Don’t be a diva. You have to get your hair and makeup done. Need to pick out your outfits for today’s scenes.”

“The outfits are already in my trailer, and the rest takes thirty minutes. I’m going to hop in the shower, grab some breakfast, and then I’ll be there.” Without giving him a chance to object, I ended the call. I wasn’t a diva. I simply liked to prepare things ahead of time so I didn’t have to wait around. If I had to wait, I’d rather pass the time in my home. And I had to get my manager used to that now. Because one day, I wanted to have a mate. Maybe even a family. And time with them would always come first.

Whoa! Where had that idea come from? I’d always wanted to have a permanent lover, someone who was there for me when I came home from video and photo shoots, recording days, and tours. But never a mate. And definitely not kids.

The image of the bunny boy tucked into me in my dream surfaced in my mind. Had he brought these thoughts upon me? I paused the memory there, not wanting to recall what happened next in my dream. Had the kid survived, gotten away from that guy who was after him? And why? What was the story behind the chase? I had no doubt the bunny shifter believed the other man would have killed him. He was shaking so hard when I’d held onto him. Even in bunny form. But I’d never find out. The chances of running into him again were almost nonexistent. Too bad because he was really cute. And children with him….

No! I had to stop those thoughts and get ready for another day of filming for the music video, mentally prepare myself to kiss the model the agency had hired to act as my lover for the video. Talk about a diva. She brought in stylists rather than using those who worked for the agency, and made my fashion coordinate with what she wanted to wear instead of the other way around. It was going to be another long day. In the studio, this time. No chance for cute strangers to show up on set to give me a break from the strain of it all.

Chapter One

Kish continued...

My stomach rumbled. I was hungry. Needed to eat. But there were too many production people around to make a clean escape. I couldn’t risk it. Even though TK didn’t hand me over, one of them might.

Front paws outstretched, I rested my chin on them and watched the production happen. TK strolled down the street looking like a runway god, lip-syncing while his music played around him. It was a slow ballad, this time, and his soulful voice dug deep inside me as he sung about the sacrifices people make for love. Sacrifices I knew about. Not the romantic type, but for my family. Though I didn’t live at home anymore, I still helped my mother to pay her bills. My dad left us long ago, but with ten brothers and sisters, my mom couldn’t do it on her own. She worked three jobs while my oldest sister, Fleur, took care of the younger ones. I worked for a delivery service, but, on the side, I did some deliveries of not-so-legal goods that couldn’t leave an electronic trail. I had an unregistered phone for them, and no names were ever given. No texts, either. Just a quick phone call with an address and a dollar amount. As the oldest child, I had to help my mom somehow. And though she never asked how I got the money, she always told me how much she appreciated my help.

I returned my attention to the street. This time, TK wasn’t alone. And instead of walking, he was running. Toward a woman. When he reached her, he held her close, the way he’d held me, and kissed her. Not a quick peck, but much deeper. More intimate. Loving. A kiss that I only ever saw in movies. Ones my coworkers made me watch when we had our monthly movie night, because I would never watch such crap on my own. I preferred explosions, shootouts, and running for one’s life. But on screen. Not when I was part of it.

The kiss happened again. As if it wasn’t enough the first time. My chest suddenly exploded in pain. I flopped onto my side, trying to get it to end. Tears of agony streamed from my eyes. Was I dying? Rabbits didn’t live that long. Had my time finally come? I tried to move, get out from beneath the dumpster so I could shift back to my human form. But the strain was too much. So I just lay there, waiting for death to take me away. Today I wouldn’t die from a gunshot, but simply from being an old rabbit.

I didn’t die. Eventually the pain subsided. And my stomach decided to remind me how hungry I was once again. I peeked out from under the dumpster. TK was still on the street. This time in a long trench coat with tall, black leather boots. A look I liked even more than the previous burnt-orange dress shirt and pleated black pants. And the woman was gone. Somehow that made me relieved. But I couldn’t stay and watch anymore. I needed nourishment. A package of ramen noodles waited for me at home. Not much, but enough to satisfy my growling belly.

I hopped to the other side of the dumpster, made sure I had a clear path to the next street over then dashed away. Once I reached the adjacent alley, I shifted back to my human form then raced for home. Tomorrow I had to work a fourteen-hour shift at my legal job, so I needed to sleep after I ate and had a shower. Running into TK was nice, but it wasn’t as if I ever would again.

Saved by the sexy tiger shifter. Read an excerpt from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #MPreg #PNR #MMromance

Hello! I have another piece of chapter one from Bunny Omega on the Run, an MPreg MM Shifter Pop Star Romance with a cute bunny omega and a sexy tiger alpha. This story releases on Friday. If you missed yesterday's excerpt, you can find it here. Be sure to come back for more tomorrow!

Chapter One

Kish continued...

“TK! What are you doing? We’re filming here, remember?”

At the stern voice, I pushed up on my hind feet and rested my front paws on TK’s shoulder. Glancing behind him, I saw another man storming toward us. Not just any man. He was a shifter, too. A wolf. Their scent was pungently strong. And they often weren’t far from their pack. Were the guards, the betas and omegas to the alpha, getting closer and closer?

“I’m just relaxing with my bunny friend here.” He grabbed my scruff again and turned me onto my back.

“The only thing those rodents are good for is a meal for my wolf,” the other man growled as he kicked my clothes to the side.

Not if I had anything to do with it. TK smacked the other guy and, while he was distracted, I leaped to the ground. As soon as I had solid footing, I scrambled for the closest dark space. Under a dumpster. I thought about continuing out the other side and dashing far away, but I was still tired from my previous escape.

“Hey!” Another voice. One I recognized from only a short time ago. The guy with the gun. “Have either of you seen a little punk in a black hoodie run through here?”

I peered out from under the dumpster, ready to run again.

TK shoved the wolf shifter back then rounded on the guy with the gun. “First of all, don’t you dare show up on my music video set waving a gun around.”

The man instantly tucked his gun into his belt. “S-sorry, sir.” He bowed and backed up. “I’m simply looking for a young kid who wronged me in a deal. Have you seen him come through here?”

Wronged him? The only person wronged in the deal was me. They got their package delivered and the other half of the money I was promised upon delivery. But I wasn’t about to come out of hiding to say so.

“I did.” TK glared at the man. “He ran right into me then ran that way.” When TK pointed to the alley across the street, the man took off immediately.

But the wolf shifter shook his head. “Why did you send that guy in the wrong direction? That punk did him wrong. Plus, he shed all over your outfit. You should have let the dumb bunny suffer.”

“I don’t think so.” TK glanced toward the dumpster as if looking for me. “He was running for his life, not because he cheated someone. Plus, he was kind of cute.”

The wolf shifter rolled his eyes. “Shit, TK. It’s comments like that that make me wonder why I put up with you.”

“It’s because I make you a lot of money, Conn.” TK shoved past him and away from me. “Don’t forget that.”

Interesting. TK really did think I was cute, and had just saved my life. I’d never really listened to his music before, preferring alternative rock over his genre-bending pop. Though when I managed to get home, I was going to buy all his songs. Actually, I’d have to wait until I got paid from my real job next since today’s side deal went bad. But I would buy them. I had to pay him back for helping me.

He smacked right into the world famous pop star! Read from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #MPreg #MMromance #PNR

Hello! I'm so excited for the release of Bunny Omega on the Run, an MPreg MM Shifter Pop Star Romance with a cute bunny omega and a sexy tiger alpha. This story releases on Friday, and I've decided to spend today through Thursday sharing the first chapter with you. Be sure to come back for more tomorrow!

Chapter One

Kish

I eyed the barrel of the 9mm pointed at my face. Clutching my hands behind me, I tried to hide the excessive shaking throughout my body. “It’s okay. You can pay me later. I’ll...I’ll just be going.” Anything to get away from there alive.

The lanky, bald man in the black suit clicked the safety off. “There won’t be another time.”

Without waiting for a shot to be fired, I spun around and bolted down the street. I had no time to shift. I simply ran. Over fences. Through yards. Down one alley after another. I didn’t stop. Couldn’t stop. My mom and siblings depended on me. I couldn’t help them if I was dead.

After what felt like forever, my thighs burned and chest ached. I had to stop. Or at least slow down. But I didn’t know if I was still being pursued. I dared a glance behind me. No one. Thank fuck! It was time to slow down. Shift and find a place to hide.

Smack!

I slammed into something hard. Someone hard. Liquid terror filled my veins. Somehow the guy in the suit had outsmarted me. I was dead. Gone. No chance to say goodbye to my family. My knees gave out, and I crumpled toward the ground. But strong arms caught me, lifted me back up. Did the man want to stare in my face when he killed me?

“Whoa, whoa. It’s okay, little omega. I won’t hurt you.” The man pulled me closer. Tight into his broad chest.

And that’s when I smelled the wild, rugged scent. A predator. Not the human who had been chasing me, but a tiger. I was in the arms of one of the most dangerous types of shifters in the world. But when I dared a glance up into his eyes, I only saw a concerned alpha. One whom I instantly recognized. TK. The pop star dominating all of the music charts. I’d had no idea he wasn’t human.

Filled with a new fear, I slowly backed away. Being anywhere near the star, I’d have more than one man with a gun after me. If he didn’t take me out, someone else would.

But TK didn’t let go so easily. He cupped my elbows, keeping me steady. “What were you running from?”

I didn’t answer. Behind TK, men in black suits—not cheap knockoffs like my pursuer had worn, but actual designer brands—eyed me, waiting for me to do something stupid.

Needing to prove I offered no harm, I shifted. In my shifted form, there was no way I could harm their charge.

I expected to fall to the ground and hop away. But TK didn’t let go of me. He held my scruff. “Oh my! You are the most gorgeous bunny I have ever seen. Just as beautiful as when you were in your human form.” He released his grip and stroked behind my shoulders. Then in between my ears. “You are just adorable with one ear up and one ear down.”

More like disfigured. My rabbit was a lop, supposed to have both ears down. But what did a tiger know about bunnies except how to eat them? Maybe he was buttering me up to do that later.

Bunny comes face-to-face with a wolf. Read a snippet from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #PNR #LGBTQ #romance #MPreg

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all of you who visited my post last weekend! I'm continuing with more BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN, an MPreg MM Shifter Pop Star Romance. This story will release on March 29, 2019 and is now available for pre-order. If you haven't already seen the cover, it can be found below as well.

Set-up: Last weekend, Kish was heading to Adan Records in Shifter Towers with a large delivery from La Sandwich Shoppe. So many of you were curious as to who he'd meet there...

Once again, I'm skipping several sentences to get to this moment. (Creatively edited to fit the ten sentence limit)

When the door opened, I came face-to-face with Conn, the wolf shifter who had been with TK at the music video shooting. I was filled with dread from head to toe.

“What are you doing here?” he growled.

I held out the bags, my arms shaking. “Food delivery.”

His eyes narrowed as he looked me up and down. “Honest work today, I see.” He sneered. “Though I wouldn’t be surprised to learn you’d stolen this food from the real delivery boy.”

I gulped.

A delivery for Adan Records ~ Read a snippet from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #PNR #MMromance #LGBTQ #MPreg

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all of you who visited my post last weekend! I'm continuing with more BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN, an MPreg Omegaverse Pop Star Shifter Romance, which will be published with Decadent Publishing. This story will release on March 29, 2019. If you are able to host me for a blog tour for this story, please fill out this form. Thank you to those who have already signed up!!

Set-up: Last weekend, Kish was back at the delivery service office, waiting for the next call to come in as it would be his delivery. When it came in, he was sent to La Sandwich Shoppe. So many of you were curious as to who he'd meet there. Well, it's not what you think, but we'll get there eventually.

I'm going to skip several sentences to where Kish is actually at La Sandwich Shoppe. (Creatively edited to fit the ten sentence limit)

I made it to La Sandwich Shoppe in ten minutes. My first few deliveries were small and to various floors of office buildings within a two-block radius. Easy, quick, and they tipped nicely. I would finally have some extra money to buy a few TK songs to repay him for saving me a few days ago.

I walked into La Sandwich Shoppe once again to see where my next delivery would be. Instead of the smaller bags I was used to finding on the delivery counter, I saw two giant cooler bags filled with food.

“Kish, perfect!” The restaurant owner bustled toward me. “The next delivery is to Shifter Towers, Adan Records, which is the fourth floor of the third building. Check in at the front desk, and they’ll let you up.”

Waiting for his next delivery. Read a snippet from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #romance #LGBTQ #PNR #MPreg #AOB

Two rounds of edits have been completed, and I have a release date, but no cover yet. This story will release on March 29, 2019. If you are able to host me for a blog tour for this story, please fill out this form.

Set-up: Last weekend, Kish was hiding under a dumpster when the gunman arrived on the scene. TK sent him running in the opposite direction, but TK's manager asked him why he didn't turn over the bunny shifter. That's when TK said he thought Kish was cute.

I'm going to skip the rest of chapter one. Just know that they have no more interactions, and Kish makes it home safely. He also vows to buy as many TK songs as possible (even though he's never listened to his music before), to thank him for saving his life. He never expects to see him again.

In this weekend's snippet from the beginning of chapter two, Kish is at his job. It's just a normal day.... (Creatively edited to fit the ten sentence limit)

I leaned over the desk to catch the breeze from the only fan in the entire office. We didn’t have air conditioning, which was obvious as sweat dripped down the forehead of everyone who was working today. I could feel it dripping down my back as well. I wish I could say outside was better, but the humid air was stagnant, and the area surrounding the office had no trees to provide any shade. I had reached the top of the list again after one delivery this morning, so the next call would be mine. The lunch hour was only minutes away, which always netted us at least a few calls.

Though, when the phone rang, I rolled my eyes. I’d finally started to cool down a bit, and now I’d have to go out into the blazing heat.

“Kish,” Zebus, our dispatcher, said as he set the phone down. “Pick up is at eighty-five West First Ave., La Sandwich Shoppe.”

Bunny Omega on the Run (Shifter Towers book one):

Will TK reveal Kish's hiding spot? Read a snippet from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN #romance #MPreg #LGBTQ #PNR

I just completed the first round of edits for it.

Set-up: Last weekend, Kish leaped away from TK and hid under a dumpster. Then the gunman showed up asking if anyone had seen Kish. I skipped a couple sentences to bring you this snippet, creatively edited to fit the ten sentence limit.

“I did,” TK said as he glared at the man. “He ran right into me then took off that way.” When TK pointed to the alley across the street, the man took off immediately.

But the wolf shifter shook his head. “Why did send that guy in the wrong direction? That punk did him wrong, and he shed all over your outfit. You should have let the dumb bunny suffer.”

“I don’t think so.” TK glanced toward the dumpster as if looking for me. “He was running for his life, not because he cheated someone, plus, he was kind of cute.”
