Today is the day! GENJ has released into the universe! #KaddimBrothers #SciFiRomance #MMRomance #NewRelease

It's RELEASE DAY!! I'm excited to announce that GENJ, the second book in my Kaddim Brother series, is now available in ebook and paperback!

GENJ
Kaddim Brothers book two

Genj is a cinnamon roll alpha. Even as one of the circuit’s best space racers, he’s shy and rather clumsy. Not qualities anyone wants in a mate, especially the omega he’s crushed on for years. But when Genj invites Utahn on a whim to visit him for a weekend, the omega agrees.

Utahn never expected his best friend’s older brother to reciprocate his feelings. Genj is a space racer, and everyone in the universe knows they rarely commit. When the two get together, sparks fly. And what once seemed impossible becomes a dream come true.

But situations change. And past relationships have a way of interfering with new ones. Can Genj and Utahn work through past traumas, or were they never meant to be more than a childhood crush?

NOW AVAILABLE IN EBOOK AND PAPERBACK!

Enjoy an excerpt from Chapter Three of GENJ!

“How was the trip here?” I hoped small talk would help ease some of the awkwardness. I didn’t want the entire weekend to be like this.

“It was good.” He shrugged. “Pretty boring, really. The Olarian beside me slept the whole time, but I couldn’t. I was too anxious, I guess.”

“Were you afraid something would happen on the flight?” Because why else would he be anxious? He’d flown on the spacecraft many times before.

Utahn nudged his shoulder against mine. “No, I was anxious to see you. I like you, and I really want this weekend to go well.”

“I want it to go well, too.” My cheeks warmed, along with my groin. He’d finally admitted something my younger brother had told me a while ago. The guy I’d been crushing on for most of my life liked me, too. But did he mean as more than a friend? Or was I getting too far ahead of myself?

After finding Utahn’s case, we caught a hovercab to the hotel where I’d made reservations for him. It wasn’t too far from my dorm and had many amenities for when he needed time away from me.

I carried his case inside and stayed in the lobby to make sure he checked in okay. The concern etched in the wrinkles around the nose of the Eureblian front desk clerk, and the way their spines rose on the top of their head had me worried. I leaned on the desk. “Is there a problem?”

“Um…” They chewed on their top lip as they tapped several buttons on the screen in front of them. “It seems your room was double-booked, and there are no more vacancies left this weekend.” They wiped their forehead with one of their tentacles. “I can call around and see if there are rooms available at other hotels.”

My stomach sank. “I don’t get how this could happen.” How could they double-book a room and not notice until now? And why did it have to happen to us? “Yes, please find another room.”

“No.” Utahn pulled me away from the desk. “Don’t worry about it. I’ll simply—”

“I don’t want you to return to Orez already. You just got here.”

“No.” Utahn chuckled as he cupped my elbow in his palm. “I thought maybe I could stay at your dorm. You can find room for me, right?”

Hoping for a different answer this time. Read an excerpt from MEMORIES OF US #Romance #MMRomance #MPreg #PNR #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited my blog last weekend! This weekend I'm sharing one last excerpt from MEMORIES OF US, an MPreg MM Shifter Romance that is part of my Shifter Towers series. It is available as part of a limited-time MPreg collection called SPECIAL DELIVERY: SUMMER. Next weekend, I'll switch back to VAWN, which is now available for pre-order.

I get my second covid vaccine this weekend, and I'm not sure how my body will react to this one, so I may be a little slow getting to your posts, but I will visit.

Set-up: Last weekend, Hayden realized Envi had returned, but he flew away instead of talking to him.

This weekend, I'm skipping ahead again. Hayden and Envi have reunited and spent time together, but Hayden believes that when Envi's cottage is sold, the singer will return to Saramto and forget about him again. Envi has other ideas. Enjoy! (This is in Hayden's point of view.)

“I am going back to Saramto. The cottage sold, and I have to get back and work on a project for another artist. But I want you to come with me this time. I don’t want to leave you behind.”

“I can’t.” The words blurted from my mouth before my heart could stop them.

“Why?” He flicked his finger under my chin and made me look up at him. “What’s keeping you here still?”

“My job.” I turned my head away, trying hard to think of other reasons. “And I’m not exactly fit for your lifestyle.”

**And here's a little more...**

He took my hands in his, slowly letting go of me. This was it. Our second last goodbye.

“You work at a job that doesn’t pay enough for you to take care of yourself, let alone a child. Let me take care of you. And it doesn’t matter to me what anyone else thinks.”

“But I can’t ask you to do that.” I didn’t want his pity, or for him to feel somehow obligated to take care of me. I’d make do on my own, somehow. I’d survived this long by myself.

“You haven’t asked me for anything, Hayden.” He brought my hands up to his lips and kissed each of them. “I’m asking you to come with me. Again. Only, this time, I’m hoping for a different answer.”

What will Hayden do when he sees Envi for the 1st time in 15 years? Read an excerpt from MEMORIES OF US #Romance #MMRomance #PNR #MPreg #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited my blog last weekend! Just a couple more excerpts from MEMORIES OF US, an MPreg MM Shifter Romance that is part of my Shifter Towers series. It is available as part of a limited-time MPreg collection called SPECIAL DELIVERY: SUMMER. Then I'll switch back to VAWN, which is now available for pre-order.

Set-up: Last weekend, I introduced you to Hayden, Envi's first love.

This weekend, I'm skipping ahead again to where Hayden sees Envi for the first time in fifteen years. It is important to note that Hayden is in his dragonfly form when he sees him. Also, Envi's real name is Enrique Viani. Enjoy!

Switching direction, I headed to the cottage. From what I remembered, the place had five bedrooms, a long galley kitchen, and a huge deck. The last time I was there, the place was packed for one of many family get-togethers I’d attended. Shortly after that, a lot of family stopped coming for various reasons, including Enrique.

I wasn’t able to attend Salvatore’s funeral in the city and had no idea who’d inherited the property, but I kept buzzing forward.

The green Mercedes SUV parked out front made me a little confident that whoever had arrived was supposed to be there. If someone was looking to steal furniture left behind, they’d likely have something bigger to take more, or a vehicle that didn’t stand out so much.

Zooming around the perimeter, I didn’t see anyone outside. But as I reached the front of the house, I noticed the screen door opening. Out walked Enrique.

**That's ten, and here are a few more...**

I flew straight up, feeling my heart beat hard in my thorax. It had been so long, and he looked as good as ever. I much preferred him in the faded jeans and cream button-down he wore than the flashy outfits he donned when he was Envi, showing so much bare skin to the world.

I couldn’t stay. He’d recognize this form as soon as he spotted me. And I didn’t want to talk to him. Not when he’d only leave again. What did I have to offer anyway? I wasn’t young anymore, and was carrying another man’s baby. Yet another alpha who’d left me.

Meet Hayden, Envi's first love, in this excerpt from MEMORIES OF US #Romance #MMRomance #MPreg #LGBTQ #PNR #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited my blog last weekend! This weekend, I'm sharing another excerpt from MEMORIES OF US. It is an MPreg MM Shifter Romance that is part of my Shifter Towers series. It is available as part of a limited-time MPreg collection called SPECIAL DELIVERY: SUMMER.

Set-up: Last weekend, Envi was getting ready to leave for his summer vacation, and remembering his first love whom he'd met at the place he is going.

This weekend, I'm skipping to the next chapter to show you what Envi's first love is up to. I'd like you to meet Hayden. This is in Hayden's point of view. Enjoy!

I waved to the last of the tourists before twisting and stretching my back. It never used to bother me this much, but now I was not only carrying a heavy knapsack on my back, but also a baby in the front. Only four months along, I still had over half of my pregnancy to go. But, I’d definitely started feeling the changes to my body. My stomach had gotten bigger, and my feet and hands swelled the moment I started work. My back ached. A lot. By the end of every workday, I was exhausted. And the scent of chicken made me want to gag. I’d been lucky, though, to have avoided any morning sickness.

**That's ten, and here are a few more...**

I heaved my knapsack back on and headed toward the tiny cabin I rented. A kitchen, bathroom, and one bedroom. Not much space at all. It was fine for me, but I had no idea how I was going to manage when my baby came. That is, if I decided to keep them.

I sighed, feeling the now familiar clench of my chest. I wanted to be a father. I really did. But, I wanted what was best for my baby more than anything. And I didn’t know if I could afford to give my baby the life they deserved. Not with my measly earnings. I could only hope for some miracle to come along. I rolled my eyes. Yeah, right. Even when good things happened to me, they never lasted.

Envi is trying ignore memories of him in this excerpt from MEMORIES OF US #Romance #MMRomance #MPreg #PNR #SpecialDelivery #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited my blog last weekend! This weekend, I'm sharing an excerpt from MEMORIES OF US. It is an MPreg MM Shifter Romance that is part of my Shifter Towers series. But, it is now available as part of a limited-time MPreg Anthology called SPECIAL DELIVERY: SUMMER.

Set-up: Last weekend, Envi was getting ready to start his first summer vacation in a while. He's heading to Riekahae National Wetland Park, to his uncle's cottage where he spent his summers as a teenager.

This weekend, I'm skipping several sentences to where Envi is at home dealing with memories about his vacation destination that have come back to haunt him. Enjoy!

I unlocked the door with my key fob, then went inside, finding the place as uninviting as ever. No designer or amount of money could ever make it feel like home to me. Home meant people, and my place definitely lacked that. Though I’d never met anyone I wanted to make a home with. Not since…. Well, I couldn’t let my mind go there. That person was in the past, and I wasn’t about to run into him anytime soon. We’d gone our separate ways and moved on long ago.

I slipped off my shoes, set my bag on the hook and my keys in the dish before heading to the kitchen for a glass of wine. I needed to forget him.

**That's ten, and here are a few more...**

I had, though. Long ago. Took all those memories of our time together and locked them away in the back of my mind. When I’d learned of my uncle’s passing, and my inheritance, those memories broke the lock and made themselves known once again. We’d first met when I’d been staying at the cottage the summer before I turned thirteen. And spent several summers as friends, and the last two as boyfriends.

My chest grew tight, and my throat felt as if it were about to close. Shit, I was desperate for that glass of wine now. Maybe a few. No. I still required the ability to drive in the morning. But I needed to forget right now.

Envi is going on vacation! Read an #excerpt from MEMORIES OF US #ShifterTowers #Romance #MPreg #MLM #PNR #8Sunday

But, it is releasing as part of an MPreg Summer Anthology called SPECIAL DELIVERIES: SUMMER.

Set-up: Last weekend, I introduced you to Envi through Ash's point of view in HIS OMEGA ON STAGE. MEMORIES OF US takes place a couple years later when Ash knows Envi a little bit more.

Here's an excerpt from the beginning of MEMORIES OF US in Envi's point of view. Enjoy!

“Have a good night, Darnell.” I waved to the head of my security team as I got out of the company Palisade. “See you in a couple of weeks.”

The lion shifter nodded with a smile. “Enjoy your time off. But, if you need my help while you’re in that swamp, don’t be afraid to call.”

I chuckled. “I’ll keep that in mind. But I don’t think anyone in that part of the country will even know who I am.” I may have spent the summers of my teenage years at a cottage in the Riekahae National Wetland Park, but I doubted anyone from that time in my life still lived there. It seemed like so long ago.

Envi is getting his own story, but get to know him first in this excerpt from HIS OMEGA ON STAGE #Romance #MLM #MPreg #PNR #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

I missed last weekend, as I wasn't sure how I would feel after getting my first Covid-19 vaccine, and I also watched two digital online concerts. I took it very easy last weekend. But, I'm back with a new excerpt for you!

I'm going to switch stories for a bit. Both VAWN and MEMORIES OF US will be coming out soon, but I don't know the exact due dates. Memories of Us is another Shifter Towers stories, so a Gay MPreg Paranormal Romance. It is Envi's story, and it will be part of an anthology releasing soon. But, I'm actually going to share a snippet from HIS OMEGA ON STAGE, the story were Envi is introduced in person for the first time.

Set-up: Ash (AI), TK, and Envi are on tour together. After their first tour stop, they are having dinner with each other and a lot of their crew. This is in Ash's point of view. Enjoy!

Envi arrived a short time later, heading to the back corner of the room with his phone pressed to his ear. Though the jaguar alpha was nice, and always helped me out when I asked, he was a private person. Very few people knew anything about his personal life, and I wasn’t one of them. I had no idea if he had a family or lived alone. Though my apartment was in the same building as his, I rarely saw him away from work, and never with anyone else.

TK, on the other hand, came down to my apartment, or invited Jun and I up to his penthouse at least once a week. So, I wasn’t surprised when he entered the banquet room, talking to his family on video chat. I didn’t see Jun with him, but I didn’t have time to ask where he was. TK plopped onto the chair beside me and shoved his phone in front of me. “Look, it’s Ash. Say hi!”

HIS OMEGA ON STAGE
Shifter Towers book four

Jun
For leopard cat shifter, Jun, being the rogue alpha in high school hadn’t helped him as an adult. Though he sometimes believed he was ready to find a mate, past experiences taught him that those he loves eventually leave him. So, he protects his heart by seeing omegas looking for nothing more than a one-night stand. Until he runs into someone from his past.

Ash
As the first omega signed to Adan Records, AI is anxious for the release of his debut album. Being a leopard cat shifter instead of an actual leopard like the rest of his family has always made him feel small and insignificant. But now he’s about to shine bright in front of the world, all on his own, without an alpha by his side. He doesn’t need one, and definitely doesn’t have time for one. Though when he runs into someone from his past who knows him as Ash, he wants to give this alpha all of his attention.

On Stage
But with all the problems that fame brings, will Ash be able to make a relationship work? Will Jun fight for the omega he’s sure is his fated mate? Or will they let each other slip away, believing what they have isn’t enough?

A confrontation between demons. Read a snippet from DEMON ON JACKSON STREET #Romance #PNR #MLM #MMRomance #MPreg #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm sharing the last snippet from the fifth book in my Shifter Towers series, DEMON ON JACKSON STREET. Next weekend, I'm going to switch to a new story. Like all the other books in this series, it is an MM (gay) paranormal romance.

Set-up: Last weekend, I shared Jet's reaction to Toby telling him that he doesn't yearn for a better life. After the snippet I shared, Jet gave up on his mission, and asked for another. But, he kept an eye on Toby from a distance at first, trying to protect Toby from Crow. Many things happen in this story, but I'm skipping ahead to when Jet and Toby are about to go out on their first "date." It's a night that changes both of their lives forever.

In this weekend's snippet, Jet is confronted by his brother as he leaves Shifter Towers to pick up Toby. (This is in Jet's point of view, and Crow speaks first.)

“Where are you going all dressed up? I didn’t think you owned anything other than leather and denim.”

I tucked my phone into my pocket and tugged at the frilly lace on the cuff of my jacket before glancing around the courtyard to locate my brother. He stood with his back to me by the newly installed fountain, tossing coins into the water.

I headed his direction because there were still people around, likely just getting off work. “When has anything I do been any of your business?”

Crow shrugged. “Usually I wouldn’t care, but lately you’ve been spending a lot of time with my assignment.”

“Yeah, I am.” I couldn’t help the smile that tugged at the corner of my lips as I crossed my arms. “So what?”

**Here's more of the scene for your reading pleasure.**

“So what?” My brother raised his eyebrows to the point I thought they would fly off his forehead. “You’re getting in the way of me accomplishing my mission. Stay away from that kid.”

“Ah, but I won’t. I’m kind of attached.” Not sure if that was the right word, but it made my brother snarl, so I didn’t care.

“You need to leave him alone, Jet.” Crow clenched his fists. “He’s assigned to me now. You gave up on him and moved on to others. It’s my turn to claim his soul. You know it must be done.”

I cracked my jaw. No way was I letting Crow near Toby again. “Not going to happen.”

He narrowed his eyes at me and glared. “You haven’t given up on the mission, have you? You told Father you couldn’t do it, but you’re too stubborn to fully let him go. You still think you can claim his soul.”

As my brother chuckled to himself, I got lost in my thoughts. Was that why I kept a close watch on Toby? Did I really think he’d give up his soul for the right price?

No. I shook my head. I knew he wouldn’t. “You’re wrong. I just like being around him.”

“But why?” he asked through gritted teeth. “What is it about that toothpick of a human? Is he a good fuck? Does he satisfy all your kinks?”

“It’s not even like that with him.” Not yet, anyway. Staring past Crow, I shoved my hands in my pockets. “I guess it’s refreshing to hang out with someone so pure. You and I see so much greed and people filled with material desires. But he’s the opposite of all that. And I don’t care how much you try to curse me. I will push through all that pain every time to be with him.”

My brother cackled so loudly, those walking past turned to look at him. “What’s wrong with you? We’re demons, Jet. We thrive on gluttony and greed. But maybe Father was right. He’s your downfall. There’s no curse, so whatever you’re experiencing has nothing to do with me. But, don’t worry. I’ll make up for what you’re suddenly lacking. Plus, I know your boy’s weakness. Something you were too blind with emotion to figure out in all the time you spent with him.” Then he vanished into thin air, not caring who saw him disappear.

My heart raced. I did know Toby’s weakness, but I never wanted to use that to my advantage. I may convince people to sell their souls, but I would never purposely take the life of another for a soul. Maybe that was my downfall. Crow didn’t have the same boundaries. Yet, I’d always managed to stay ahead of him.

I rushed to my Ioniq 6, a car more my style than the one I’d previously borrowed, then sped away to pick up Toby for our date. And to ensure his grandmother had someone caring for her overnight. Because I didn’t trust what my brother would do next.

DEMON ON JACKSON STREET
Shifter Towers book five

Jet
Once upon a time there was a demon who was the best at convincing people to sell their souls. That was me. Is me. And now I have a new assignment, one Father told me would be difficult. I didn’t know what “difficult” meant until I met the young man, someone who has barely anything. Collecting his soul should be easy, right? There are so many things I can give him. Except, he doesn’t believe he deserves a better life. I have to find something he desires before the assignment is given to my brother. Because Crow uses the most villainous means to obtain souls. Lines I don’t cross. And I don’t want to see Toby hurt. There has to be another way.

Toby
I’m not like them. I can’t shift into a predator to defend myself, or even into a small rodent to run and hide. The wolf shifters know that every time they rough me up and steal my food. I always wish for a guardian angel to protect me from them. Then one day Jet appears, looking nothing like the angel I’d imagined. But I don’t know if I should trust him. He makes me feel things no other alpha ever has. Dangerous things. Not good when I have to stay focused on my grandmother. I don’t know how much longer I’ll have her around.

Even the demon has his limits. Read a snippet from DEMON ON JACKSON STREET #Romance #PNR #MLM #MMRomance #MPreg #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm sharing another snippet from the fifth book in my Shifter Towers series, DEMON ON JACKSON STREET. After next weekend, I'm going to switch to a new story. Like all the other books in this series, it is an MM (gay) paranormal romance.

Set-up: Last weekend, I shared Jet's inner conflict. Though, he didn't realize what what happening.

In this weekend's snippet, I'm skipping ahead a couple chapters. Toby's grandmother ended up in the hospital, and Toby has withdrawn even more. Jet manages to track him down and tries to talk to him. (This is in Jet's point of view, and Jet speaks first.)

“You work so you can afford to take care of your grandmother, and when you’re not working, you’re at home taking care of her. When was the last time you had any fun away from home? When was the last time you did something for yourself?”

He took another step back. Was he finally realizing who I was? “I do what I need to do. She took care of me, so now I take care of her. We all have to make sacrifices at some point in our lives.”

“But what if you didn’t have to make those sacrifices?” I needed to show him that there was an alternative.

**That's ten. Here's more of the scene for your reading pleasure.**

I needed him to yearn for a better life. “What if your grandmother was better? To the point she could get up and walk, that you could go places together? What if you lived in a neighborhood where you didn’t have alphas harassing you and stealing your food? What if you worked at a job where you were paid better and respected by your co-workers?”

“This isn’t a world where any of that is possible.” His voice was louder, firmer, as he stared past me, his features like stone. “To get any of those possibilities, I’d have to sacrifice something else. And it wouldn’t make me any happier. This is the life I’ve been dealt. This is my fate. Nothing can change it. Not even you,” he spat out. “So, just leave me alone.”

I stood there, stunned, for a moment. There was so much conviction in his words. He truly believed his life would always be like this. And I refused to make it any crueler to get him to change his mind. Perhaps another demon would, but I refused to work like that. I had my own standards as to what I would do to obtain a soul, and making someone suffer any more than he already was to get it was a line I refused to cross.

He makes me feel things no other alpha ever has. Dangerous things. Not good when I have to stay focused on my grandmother. I don’t know how much longer I’ll have her around.
