Can Ojo convince Vawn to spend another night with him? Find out in this excerpt from VAWN #Romance #MMRomance #SciFiRomance #SFR

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm sharing one final snippet from VAWN, the first book in my Sci-Fi MPreg MM Romance series, KADDIM BROTHERS.

Set-up: In the last snippet I shared from VAWN, Ojo was on vacation and found out that Vawn was vacationing on the same planet. He was about to jog past, believing Vawn had moved on, but then Vawn called out to him.

This weekend I'm continuing a few sentences later. (This is in Ojo's point of view, but Vawn speaks first.) Enjoy!

“Wow, I can’t believe you’re here, on this planet, at the same time as me.” He smiled like we were old friends.

I pointed my thumb over my shoulder, finally gaining control over my body. “Yeah, I was out for a jog, and I thought I recognized you, but I slowed to be sure.”

“Yeah, it’s me.” He quickly waved his hand, making the interaction feel awkward. “Have you had any luck finding a fuck buddy for your stay?”

I choked on the little spit in my mouth. No, that made things even worse. I thumped on my chest in an attempt to stop coughing.

**And some more if you want to read...**

A glass of water appeared in front of me. I took a drink, thankful for the relief.

“So, have you?” Vawn held his hand out for the glass.

I gave it back to him, unsure why he’d want to know. “I arrived here earlier today. Honestly, right before my jog.”

“Ah, I see.” He set the glass on a table before returning to the fence. “We just arrived this morning, too.”

We. Did that mean this was his family now? Though, why would any family travel to Rennir for a vacation? There was some piece of information I was missing.

“Then, would you like to have some fun with me tonight? You know, since we’re already familiar with each other?” Might as well take my shot, since I couldn’t get him out of my head anyway.

“Can’t.” His response was quick and simple yet still felt like a jab to the gut.

“Okay, I get it.” I backed away, ready to turn around and return to the hotel.

“No, that’s not what I meant.” He pushed the gate open and grabbed my arm. “I can’t tonight. My friend is going out, and I have to stay here—”

“Ah, the girl. I get it.” Turns out he was not only fantastic in bed but also a great friend, taking care of the other guy’s daughter so he could spend a night getting dicked down.

“But if you really want to have some fun with me again, we can get together tomorrow night. I had a good time when we hooked up on Eurebly.”

“Oh. I didn’t think so with how quickly you left after and didn’t leave me your information.” Shit, why was I spewing my insecurities all of a sudden? I had the date. I should accept it and go.

Vawn dug his toes into the sand. “Um, yeah, I had an emergency at home and had to leave right away. I really wasn’t thinking clearly.”

I didn’t know if he was making an excuse or telling the truth. His brothers wouldn’t have told me either way. “Okay, let’s meet up tomorrow. Can I get your info this time so we can figure out where to meet, then?”

“Sure.” He dashed into the yard to fetch his communicator.

**So, does that mean everything is smooth sailing from here? (insert evil author laugh) Not a chance! But, they're closer to being together, at least. You'll have to read their story to find out what happens next. And I'll try to have snippets from GENJ, the next Kaddim Brothers story, as soon as possible.

VAWN
Kaddim Brothers book one

Vawn doesn’t need a mate. He’s already established himself universe-wide as a hot name in fashion, while raising his daughter. But he won’t say no to a fling with a hot space racer when he travels to Eurebly to visit his brothers. One night. That’s all he can give. Because his heart shattered when he lost his previous alpha, and he hasn’t been able to repair it completely. He refuses to love someone like that ever again.

Ojokun survived on Jenegath in order to leave the planet and become the best space racer in the universe. Though he flies with a team, he’s never depended on anyone outside of his jet. He keeps to himself. Has one-night stands, just like every other space racer. But, after a mind-blowing night with the brother of two of his teammates, he can’t stop thinking about the gorgeous omega, or the foreign longing that scares him more than his overly-protective teammates.

Can Ojokun convince Vawn that he wants more than one night? Or is that all they were ever meant to be?

Vacationing on the same planet? What are the chances? #Romance #SciFiRomance #MMRomance

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm returning to sharing snippets from VAWN, the first book in my Sci-Fi MPreg MM Romance series, KADDIM BROTHERS.

Set-up: In the last snippet I shared from VAWN, Vawn was talking to his best friend about how he did catch feelings for Ojo, and how they both should go on vacation to forget the space racers that would never be theirs.

This weekend I'm skipping to a new chapter. Vawn and Utahn are on vacation with Vawn's daughter, Enif. But, Ojo is also on vacation. His goal is to forget every one of the Kaddim Brothers, and have a good time. Hmmm. This excerpt is in Ojo's point of view. He is out for a jog on the beach after arriving on Rennir. Enjoy!

Many of the guests were sunbathing or playing a short distance outside their fenced yards. I saw quite a few visitors I’d love to have join me in my room later in the night, but they weren’t ever alone to approach.

Then I saw him. Or, at least, someone who looked like him. Because what were the chances the guy I couldn’t get out of my head was vacationing on the same planet and in the same city as me?

I ran faster. Why couldn’t I stop thinking about Vawn? I kept my legs moving, bypassing the tourist area, until the fine sand turned to stone. My heart raced, my legs burned, and sweat dripped down my forehead into my eyes. When I finally stopped, my breathing was labored, but I still couldn’t stop thinking about him. I needed to know if that was him I’d seen or simply my mind playing tricks on me.

**And a little bit more...**

So, I went back. Only much slower. I didn’t know if it would be worse to see the sexy omega who’d snuck out of my bed without waking me or to learn it was someone else entirely. And I was afraid to find out.

When I finally arrived at the beach house, I realized the person I saw really was Vawn. In a pair of form-fitting swim trunks, he relaxed on a lounge chair, looking as gorgeous as ever. Another man and a young girl were in the yard with him, playing in the sand. Both Orezian like Vawn.

I gulped, my chest heaving but not from running. I’d made a mistake coming here. He’d moved on, something I hadn’t been able to do. Moved on and found exactly what he deserved. A family. Stability I could never give him. Heck, he probably didn’t need to move on, knowing we would never be anything more than one night. Why hadn’t I been able to think of him as such, like everyone else who’d been in my bed before and after?

I backed away from the property. It was time for me to stop hanging on to something that would never be.

“Ojokun?” Right before I turned away, Vawn sat up and adjusted his sunglasses. “Is that really you?”

Did someone catch feelings? Find out what happened after the one-night stand in this excerpt from VAWN #MMRomance #SciFiRomance #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm returning to sharing snippets from VAWN, the first book in my Sci-Fi MPreg MM Romance series, KADDIM BROTHERS.

Set-up: In the last snippet I shared from VAWN, Vawn left Ojo in the middle of the night, after they'd slept together, and didn't leave any contact information. Of course, Vawn's brothers weren't willing to pass along that information, either.

This weekend I'm skipping to a new chapter where you can find out why Vawn left so suddenly. This is in Vawn's point of view, and he's talking to his best friend, Utahn. The first line is Utahn speaking. Enjoy!

“But you’ve been happier since you returned from Eurebly, had that one-night stand with that space racer. I thought it would help me if I did the same thing.”

My chest clenched. I wasn’t happy. I was miserable, but I’d tried extremely hard to hide it. Running my fingers through his hair, I exhaled. “Ut, I did catch feelings. That’s why I don’t want you to go.”

“What?” He sat up and stared at me with wide eyes. “When did this happen? Why didn’t you tell me?”

**And a little bit more...**

I shrugged. “I knew it would never amount to anything, and I didn’t want to get hurt.” Leaning my head back, I closed my eyes for a brief moment. But it only made me think of him. “I don’t know the exact moment it happened, but after we fucked for the whole night, he held me tight against him. It was then I knew I was in trouble. Because I wanted more. I craved more time with him. So, I waited until he was asleep then snuck out of his room. I didn’t care that my brother was fucking someone when I went in to collect my stuff because I knew I had to get out of there.”

“Genj?” Utahn whimpered.

“No, Ret.” I rolled my eyes. Okay, maybe Utahn did need to go to Rennir. My brother was as unavailable to him as Ojokun was to me. He’d likely have a better chance at finding a loving relationship on that planet than pining over a space racer like we both already were.

Waking up alone after a one-night stand. Read an excerpt from VAWN #Romance #MMRomance #SciFiRomance #MPreg #Omegaverse #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm returning to sharing snippets from VAWN, the first book in my Sci-Fi MPreg MM Romance series, KADDIM BROTHERS.

Set-up: In the last snippet I shared from VAWN, Vawn was flirting with Ojo, and Ojo got a little flustered.

This weekend I'm skipping to the end of the chapter. Ojo did buy Vawn a drink. And they did sleep together. Now, it's morning, and we're still in Ojokun's point of view. Enjoy!

When I woke in the morning, I was alone, Vawn’s warmth long gone. Though his scent still lingered. With any other sexual partner, I would have been relieved to find they’d left in the middle of the night, but for some reason, I felt a strange yearning to see the sexy omega again.

I got out of bed and found a pair of shorts to put on. I tied my hair up then walked out into the common room, hoping to see him there.

The rest of my teammates were already awake, drinking their mugs of tabrue, a hangover remedy, while lounging on the furniture.

I glanced around for Vawn but didn’t see him anywhere.

Genj came over and handed me a mug. “He’s already headed home.”

My stomach twisted, and a lump formed in my throat. “Why?” I managed to whisper. Had I hurt him somehow?

**And a little bit more...**

Qé snorted then shook their head with a smile. “Never thought I’d see the day when Ojokun caught feelings for someone.”

“There’s no feelings,” Ret and I said at the same time.

I paused though, taking a deep breath, not sure if I really meant those words. Did I have any affection for the brother of two of my teammates? Feelings that went beyond sexual attraction? I didn’t know, but I wouldn’t say no to another night with him.

“He’s gone, and he’s not coming back.” Ret took his mug over to the sanitizer. “That’s all you need to know. Guess you weren’t even a good fuck with how fast he dashed out of here.”

I squeezed the mug in the same way it felt like vises squeezed my chest. I knew his words were meant to hurt, but when I returned to my room and didn’t find anything of Vawn’s left behind, not even a note, I wondered if Ret was right. Was I that forgettable?
