Thank you to all of you who visited my post last weekend! I'm sharing one more snippet from BUNNY OMEGA ON THE RUN, an MPreg MM Shifter Pop Star Romance. Set-up: Last weekend, TK asked Kish kissed for the music video. And just as it started to get hot and heavy, the director yelled "cut."

I'm skipping ahead a lot. Please read the whole thing so you can meet some of my favorite side characters, including Tati Nan, Dannie, and all of Kish's family. Prior to this snippet, a HUGE misunderstanding has occured between Kish and TK. Kish has gone back to delivering not-so-legal goods, and TK found out that Conn was responsible for a great deal of the misunderstanding. He shifts into his tiger form to confront his manager. Prowling down the hall, I passed by a mirror, noticing the vibrancy of my orange-and-black fur. It had been a while since I took this form, and my tiger couldn’t be happier to be free; he never did like wolves.

I snarled at my reflection, taking joy in the sight of my long, thick fangs. No matter what form, Conn had nothing on me.

I found him in his office, and he jumped up as soon as he saw me. Entering the room, I tried to corner him, but he kept his huge oak desk between us. “TK, calm down; I can’t help you when you’re like this.”

I didn’t want his help; I simply wanted him dead. Smelling his fear, I growled. He needed to know how serious I was.

Set-up: Last weekend, TK asked Kish arrived at the music video set, and TK's manager wasn't happy that Kish was the model TK had chosen. Especially since he wasn't even a model. Just a delivery boy. But, TK refused to budge on his choice.

In this snippet, TK and Kish have gotten their makeup done and are in their clothes for the video. Their kiss is about to happen. Note: This is not their first kiss. He grabbed me then spun me around and when he put me back down, he kissed me. I hadn’t been prepared for any of it; the kiss, yes, but not like that. It took me a split second to react.

TK held my sides, his fingers brushing my back. I took a quick breath before I met his passion; lips and tongue matching move for move. My moans were overpowered by his.

His hands moved lower to cup my ass, his favorite move during each and every practice session. Right before he lifted me to pin me against the wall, or his car, or on the hood of his car. That time had left a dent.

Just as I was ready to jump to help him, someone yelled, “Cut!”

Set-up: Last weekend, TK asked Kish to be part of his music video. And while Kish had some reluctance and a hard time answering, eventually he agreed to kiss TK in his music video. After some practicing, the day of the music video shoot has arrived.

TK pulled me tight against him. “The only person who will put their hands on him is me; he’s my model, the one I’m going to kiss in my music video.”

Conn snorted. “And what does that street kid know about being in a music video? He can’t even deliver a food order without fumbling around; he ain’t no model.”

TK took a step forward. “You wanted a realistic kiss, you’re going to get one,” he said, shoving past his manager then jerked his head for me to follow.

Set-up: Last weekend, TK came up with an idea to save his music video, but his manager wasn't immediately on board with the idea. Eventually, he did agree, with some reluctance. Though he still does not know who 'the guy' is. But, TK can't tell him, because he has to ask 'the guy' first.

He shook his head. “I’m not a model...I don’t have any experience...I can’t be in your video...everyone will see it...I’m too ugly...I’ll ruin it.”

He reached for the wall behind him. I thought he was going to bail, braced for the rejection. Instead, he slid down the wall until he was sitting, head between his knees. “I…. You…. Me….”

I didn’t know what to do, what to say; he hadn’t run, but he didn’t seem able to string a sentence together, either.

I’ll cover their fee on my own, have Tati Nan design their wardrobe to match mine. Those two expenses, I’ll take care of. You just arrange the place, time, and get the production crew there.”

Conn stared up at the ceiling, tapping his fingers on the table. He was considering my offer which was better than being flat-out rejected.

“Because I didn’t.” Not caring how mad Conn got, I leaned back in my chair. I’d told him all along I hadn’t wanted to work with her, and I couldn’t make it seem like a real kiss if she was the model they went with.

He flicked off the television. “Well sorry, but the models you gave us to choose from were already booked.”

“Not all of them.”

I'm skipping several pages to when they are actually having lunch. Kish still can't figure out why TK invited him to lunch, has already told him he can't afford the food at the fancy restaurant he brought him to, and asks if TK sees him as some sort of charity work. TK leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. “If I saw you as charity, I would fill your cupboards at home, do a clothing drive to get you some new clothes. I wouldn’t invite you out to lunch.”

I glanced down at my tattered jeans and black hoodie; not at all fashionable, not even close to comparable to TK’s fashion sense. “I still don’t get it.”

TK laughed and reached across the table, touching my folded hands. “I told you before, I think you’re cute. And it’s refreshing to meet someone who doesn’t automatically swoon over me or want to talk business. I want us to be friends, if that’s okay with you. Maybe—”

The question surprised me; why would he want to know that? My stomach chose that moment to growl, really loud and slightly painful. “This was my last delivery.”

“Perfect,” TK said,clapping his hands twice, for some reason satisfied with my answer. “If you don’t have anything else planned, I’d love to take you to lunch.”

I froze for a moment then glanced around to make sure I wasn’t dreaming, that TK had actually asked me to lunch. “Why?” I asked, unable to think of anything else to say, not understanding why he wanted anything to do with me, unless he wanted me for lunch.

He chuckled. “Because I’m hungry and need to get lunch, since I wasn’t part of that meeting you just fed. And you’re obviously hungry, too, so I thought we could go somewhere together.”
