In line for face painting. Read a snippet from PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE #romance #MMromance #MPreg #PNR #WeWriWa

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited me last weekend! This weekend, I'm continuing with a snippet from the third story in my Shifter Towers series, PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE. It's an MM MPreg Shifter Romance. The story is available in both ebook and print.

*AUTHORS GIVE BACK SALE - find a selection of my books available FREE at Smashwords for a limited time. All information and links can be found on this post.

Set-up: In last weekend's snippet, Milo was trying to calm his fussy son, Odega, but nothing worked until he spotted Yoni waving from a distance. Now, Yoni never came over after that. Milo figured he was working and just happened to be passing by, or was put off by the fact that Milo had a child. In this weekend's snippet, Odega is sleeping, and Milo is ready to leave, but his nieces want to get their face painted first. Malone took the girls to the bathroom, so they could leave right after the face painting, and Milo is waiting in line for them. (punctuation changed to fit the 10 sentence limit)

I moved to the queue while Malone took his daughters to the washroom building. I crept slowly ahead but still had to wait a long time in the afternoon sun. The face painters themselves were under trees to give them shade, but the line was formed out in the open.

Eventually, I made it to the front, except my brother and nieces weren’t back yet. What was I supposed to do?

“I’m open,” one of the face painters called.

I glanced around to see who was open and froze. It was Yoni. I’d known he was here somewhere but hadn’t expected him to be manning a booth, especially face painting.

“Go!” the family behind me urged impatiently.

PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE
Shifter Towers book three

Milo
My mate died in a horrible car crash the night after he claimed me. I didn’t know I was pregnant with his child until he was buried in the ground. Luckily, my brother and his family supported me through it all. Now, it’s time for me to earn my keep. I’m going back to work. Not only to earn money, but to have a social life again. Even if just during the hours I’m at my job. Because I’m nowhere near ready for another relationship. Not sure I ever will be.

Yoni
I moved to Saramto to take a paid intern position at the local news station. My first time living in such a big city. And as the time limit on my contract kept looming closer, I hoped to come across something to keep me here. Nothing did. Until I met Milo and his adorable son. Now, I want them to be mine and I have no desire to leave. But my time is drawing near. While I pray for some miracle to come along and let me stay, I must find a way to tell Milo I have to go.

Pika Omega Plus One is a sweet with knotty heat shifter mm mpreg romance. It is book three in the popular Shifter Towers Series.

This is a wonderful tale, Jess. You're doing a fantastic job of building up the beginning of their story. :-)

    1. Thank you! Well, he could avoid him, but then it would be obvious.

  7. Cute. Maybe he can let the family behind him go first, until his nieces get back. Or he could get his face painted. LOL

  8. I love how he’s always popping up. If it was one of my suspense books, Yoni would be a stalker lol, but I can tell he’s a good dude. Seems like fate—like they’re meant to be together :)

    Keep smiling,
    Yawatta
