An outing for Milo and his son. Read a snippet from PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE #romance #MMromance #MPreg #PNR #WeWriWa

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited me last weekend! This weekend, I'm continuing with a snippet from the third story in my Shifter Towers series, PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE. It's an MM MPreg Shifter Romance. The story is available in both ebook and print.

Set-up: In last weekend's snippet, Yoni was leaving the Children's Hospital heartbroken, after doing research for his upcoming story. Well, he finished the story, and it was on television. In this weekend's snippet, we find out who saw the story. (punctuation changed to fit the 10 sentence limit)

Odega was too young to enjoy a day at the Children’s Festival, so I hadn’t planned on going, but after watching a report on the local news station on Thursday, my nieces had begged me to tag along with them and my brother. I hadn’t seen the feature myself as I’d been working, but they summarized the segment by saying there were a lot of children who needed our help, and we could help them by going to the festival. My brother said he would appreciate the company and that I could use some time out of the house not work related, and maybe I could.

Work hadn’t gotten any better from the first day. I was still stuck on stock and cleanup, all of my shifts coinciding with Randall’s. I don’t know what I’d done to piss off Nolan, the manager who made the schedule, but I was beginning to wonder if I’d made a mistake in going back to work early; or maybe I needed a different job.

Not only did I have to deal with Randall, I also had Yoni from the news station constantly visiting me and trying to apologize for spilling his soup on me. I’d forgiven him, thankful it landed on my shirt and hadn’t gone through to my skin. Yet, he kept coming back, mostly just to ask me about my day. To be honest, I didn’t mind; he was a treat to look at and seemed kind.

PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE
Shifter Towers book three

Milo
My mate died in a horrible car crash the night after he claimed me. I didn’t know I was pregnant with his child until he was buried in the ground. Luckily, my brother and his family supported me through it all. Now, it’s time for me to earn my keep. I’m going back to work. Not only to earn money, but to have a social life again. Even if just during the hours I’m at my job. Because I’m nowhere near ready for another relationship. Not sure I ever will be.

Yoni
I moved to Saramto to take a paid intern position at the local news station. My first time living in such a big city. And as the time limit on my contract kept looming closer, I hoped to come across something to keep me here. Nothing did. Until I met Milo and his adorable son. Now, I want them to be mine and I have no desire to leave. But my time is drawing near. While I pray for some miracle to come along and let me stay, I must find a way to tell Milo I have to go.

Pika Omega Plus One is a sweet with knotty heat shifter mm mpreg romance. It is book three in the popular Shifter Towers Series.

  6. Constantly apologizing for something that's been moved past can often create a more awkward situation. I hope Yoni is able to focus on more important things soon.
