He's only one pretty boy. Read an excerpt from VAWN! #Romance #MMRomance #SciFiRomance #MPreg #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm returning to sharing snippets from VAWN, the first book in my Sci-Fi MPreg MM Romance series, KADDIM BROTHERS.

Set-up: In the last snippet I shared from VAWN, the Kaddim brothers and the rest of ORIXA were at the dinner table for the banquet. And Vawn was flirting with Ojo, making his very uncomfortable in front of his teammates.

This weekend I'm skipping ahead to later that evening. Everyone is at the club, but Ojo is still a bit grumpy from dinner, even more so now that Trog is dancing with Vawn. Enjoy!

“Why don’t you just ask him to dance?” Xac said from beside me.

I grunted before turning away from the dance floor. “He said he wanted a drink. I came here to buy him a drink.” Not watch him grind against the guest of my biggest rival. I was surprised his brothers weren’t already over there, dragging Vawn away from having fun. But they were too busy trying to impress siblings and friends of other racers. Hypocrites!

“Fine then. Stay here and pout.” Qé ruffled my hair, knowing how much that annoyed me. “We’re going to chase that Storm supporter away and dance with Vawn ourselves, since you won’t.”

**And a little bit more...**

“Whatever.” I downed the rest of my kadov then slammed the glass on the counter. Why did I care that he was out there dancing rather than coming to find me for a drink? He was only one pretty boy. Extremely pretty. But there were plenty of other guests here I could seduce into my bed. Some of them I’d only have to say hello at this point in the night. Maybe I’d go after the tall Otavian Ret was currently flirting with. Yeah, that seemed like a good idea.

VAWN
Kaddim Brothers book one

Vawn doesn’t need a mate. He’s already established himself universe-wide as a hot name in fashion, while raising his daughter. But he won’t say no to a fling with a hot space racer when he travels to Eurebly to visit his brothers. One night. That’s all he can give. Because his heart shattered when he lost his previous alpha, and he hasn’t been able to repair it completely. He refuses to love someone like that ever again.

Ojokun survived on Jenegath in order to leave the planet and become the best space racer in the universe. Though he flies with a team, he’s never depended on anyone outside of his jet. He keeps to himself. Has one-night stands, just like every other space racer. But, after a mind-blowing night with the brother of two of his teammates, he can’t stop thinking about the gorgeous omega, or the foreign longing that scares him more than his overly-protective teammates.

Can Ojokun convince Vawn that he wants more than one night? Or is that all they were ever meant to be?

  1. Not a good idea . . . not when his heart is so obviously elsewhere!

  3. Uh oh, he's in a mood and nothing good ever comes of that! But it'll be fun to read. Great snippet!

  4. Love this. He's not getting what he wants so he's going to go mess with what someone else wants. Hope Vawn saves him from himself before he gets in too much trouble.

    1. Oh, not at all. ;) But, no different than any other space racer there.
