A flower for Milo. Read a snippet from PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE #romance #MMromance #MPreg #PNR #WeWriWa

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to everyone who visited me last weekend! This weekend, I'm continuing with a snippet from the third story in my Shifter Towers series, PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE. It's an MM MPreg Shifter Romance. The story is available in both ebook and print.

Set-up: In last weekend's snippet, Milo decided to get his face painted, but then had to make a decision on what he wanted Yoni to paint. Many of you guessed that he would get a heart. Here's what he gets.... (punctuation changed to fit the 10 sentence limit)

I tried to swallow my nerves down. “A flower, I think.”

“A flower is perfect for you,” he said, wiping my cheek with a wet cloth then a dry one. “You’re pretty like a flower, and always smell nice, too.”

My entire body flushed. Positive my cheeks were bright red, I wanted the ground to swallow me up. “Thank you,” I squeaked out.

He chuckled, “So, how old is your son?”

“Six months.” I couldn’t believe he was flirting with me, knowing I had a child.

PIKA OMEGA PLUS ONE
Shifter Towers book three

Milo
My mate died in a horrible car crash the night after he claimed me. I didn’t know I was pregnant with his child until he was buried in the ground. Luckily, my brother and his family supported me through it all. Now, it’s time for me to earn my keep. I’m going back to work. Not only to earn money, but to have a social life again. Even if just during the hours I’m at my job. Because I’m nowhere near ready for another relationship. Not sure I ever will be.

Yoni
I moved to Saramto to take a paid intern position at the local news station. My first time living in such a big city. And as the time limit on my contract kept looming closer, I hoped to come across something to keep me here. Nothing did. Until I met Milo and his adorable son. Now, I want them to be mine and I have no desire to leave. But my time is drawing near. While I pray for some miracle to come along and let me stay, I must find a way to tell Milo I have to go.

Pika Omega Plus One is a sweet with knotty heat shifter mm mpreg romance. It is book three in the popular Shifter Towers Series.

  8. Super sweet reaction to his flirting. Sometimes think having a kid and being a single parent a a turn off but we’re all human and wear many hats. Greats snippet, really enjoyed it.

    1. That's exactly what Milo thought, but it didn't deter Yoni. Thank you, Cecilia!

  9. A flower is an excellent choice! I also can't believe he's flirting with her, knowing she has a child. Perhaps this will lead to something interesting!

    1. A child will not deter Yoni from flirting with Milo. He already met Milo before, so he was already interested in him. Now he knows why Milo was reluctant. P.S. Both characters are male.

  10. Doesn't Milo know babies are attention magnets? Remember the scene in the park in Three Men and a Baby? I wonder what kind of flower Yoni is going to paint on him. Sweet scene.

  12. I can believe he’s flirting. Your main character sounds like a catch—the shy, mysterious one.

    Keep smiling,

  13. Haha! What Jenna said. Years ago, when my husband had the kids when I worked weekends, he used to tease me about all the women who came up to him and talked to him under the pretense of asking about the kids. lol

Sweet scene. You do make it believable that Yoni is genuinely interested in Milo's baby when he asks him about the little one.

    Good snippet!
