Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!
Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! This weekend, I'm sharing the another snippet from VAWN, the first book in my Sci-Fi MPreg MM Romance series, KADDIM BROTHERS. This story has been contracted to Decadent Publishing, and I'll share more details about a cover and release date as I get them.
Set-up: Last weekend Ojokun learned the being he was trying to pick up was the younger brother of two of his teammates. Many of you seemed to think that was the end of things between them, but we're just in the beginning of their story. Vawn may have seen through Ojo's pickup lines, but that didn't mean he didn't like the attention.
This weekend I'm sharing the rest of the scene. Enjoy!
I spun around to watch them walk away, specifically Vawn. I chewed on my bottom lip, wanting my hands on that ass so bad. That’s when I noticed Qé and Xac laughing at me.
“Shut up.” I crossed my arms. “You could have at least warned me.”
“I tried.” Qé shook their head, still laughing. “But you had already zeroed in on him and stopped paying attention to everyone else.”
“Hey, Ojokun!” I glanced up to see Vawn facing me from the exit. “I hope your offer still stands.”
**And the rest for your reading pleasure.**
Before I had the chance to respond, Ret yelled, “Not going to happen,” while glaring at me.
Well, I hadn’t totally bombed with the breathtaking visitor, but did I want to risk pissing off two of my teammates just for a fuck? I wasn’t sure yet.
VAWN
Kaddim Brothers book one
Vawn doesn’t need a mate. He’s already established himself universe-wide as a hot name in fashion, while raising his daughter. But he won’t say no to a fling with a hot space racer when he travels to Eurebly to visit his brothers. One night. That’s all he can give. Because his heart shattered when he lost his previous alpha, and he hasn’t been able to repair it completely. He refuses to love someone like that ever again.
Ojokun survived on Jenegath in order to leave the planet and become the best space racer in the universe. Though he flies with a team, he’s never depended on anyone outside of his jet. He keeps to himself. Has one-night stands, just like every other space racer. But, after a mind-blowing night with the brother of two of his teammates, he can’t stop thinking about the gorgeous omega, or the foreign longing that scares him more than his overly-protective teammates.
Can Ojokun convince Vawn that he wants more than one night? Or is that all they were ever meant to be?

Oh I have a feeling his teammates' opinions won't matter! At least not at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThe ball is is Vawn's court now. He decides what happens next.
DeleteWhat a position to be in. Will he allow peer pressure to deter him?
ReplyDeleteIt won't matter is Vawn says no, so he has to wait and see.
DeleteLove the last line - I wasn't sure yet. That says a lot. LOL
ReplyDeleteTweeted.
Thank you, Daryl!
DeleteDecisions, decisions...I have a feeling he won't be able to deny himself the experience. Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteAll depends on Vawn. Thanks so much, Veronica!
DeleteIf Vawn is willing, I don't think he's going to let his brothers interfere. This visit is going to be very interesting for all concerned. Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteYes, Vawn is the key here. Thank you, Jenna!
DeleteLike Jenna, I imagine he won't worry too much if Vawn shows interest in him.
ReplyDeleteThat's more than likely. ;)
DeleteThe pull of wanting to respect the brothers'/teammates' wishes, vs two consenting adults. I wonder what the fallout will be on those relationships?
ReplyDeleteAh, but that is what the story is about. ;)
