Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all of you who visited me last weekend! MINK OMEGA IN HIDING is an MM paranormal romance, the second book in my Shifter Towers series, is now available.

Set-up: In last weekend's snippet. Roan opened up a little more, and they were starting to feel comfortable with each other again. I'm skipping ahead quite a bit. Hansol has given Roan his own room, and a job at his gym. It's not glamorous, but Roan is still thankful to be contributing somehow. Unfortunately, it's there that Roan's past catches up with him. (Awkward punctuation to make it fit the 10 line limit.)

“Wow, I thought I recognized that ass.” He pushed me against the wall, pressing his groin against my stomach. “How did you get all the way here? I know you don’t belong to Tuan anymore, since he was murdered, but I thought Stone would have laid his claim on you by now.”

I gasped. Murdered; that’s what happened; that’s why the police were there? I wanted to be happy, thankful he could never come looking for me, that he’d never hurt me again. Somehow that past life had still found me.

“No, I don’t belong to anyone.” I tried to duck away from him, escape as I already had once, but he maintained his hold, pressing his forearm to my neck.
