The signing is over. What happens next? Read a snippet from HIS OMEGA ON STAGE #romance #MPreg #PNR #omegaverse #8Sunday

Hello and welcome to another Weekend Writing Warriors post!

Thank you to all those who visited last weekend! I've been sharing snippets from the fourth book in my Shifter Towers series, HIS OMEGA ON STAGE, which will release through Decadent Publishing. Like all the other books in this series, it is an MM paranormal romance. I'll keep you posted when I know anything about a release date.

**Quick note: If any of my fellow authors need a blog spot for a new release, cover reveal, or anything else book related, just email me. I'd be happy to host you here.

Set-up: In last weekend's snippet, Ash was in the middle of his signing when he picked up Jun's scent of pine and allspice. It definitely caught him off guard and made it hard for him to concentrate during the event.

In this weekend's snippet, I'm skipping ahead quite a bit to after the signing is over and things are winding down. This is still in Ash's point of view.

Staff from Adan Records and KMM worked quickly to direct the fans out and clean up while I answered questions from Tony about how it went.

Though Jun wasn’t that close now that the fans had left, I could still see him watching me as he piled chairs and took down signs. Tony called him over right before we left for the company.

“Thank you for all of your help today.” He handed Jun a small, white envelope then shook his hand. “Even though nothing happened, you don’t know how important you were to us.”

“Oh.” He glanced at me then Tony. “Thank you. It wasn’t a problem.”

**That's ten, but I've included a little more for your reading pleasure.**

“Yeah, thank you.” I clasped my hands behind my back, feeling the need to say something. “Why don’t you come back with us for a coffee or a drink, or something?” No, not that. I got nervous for a moment, and my leopard cat took over. Bad kitty!

“Oh, um.” He stuck his thumb over his shoulder. “I’d love to, but I have to get back to work. I’m here until the store closes at nine.”

“I should still be around then.” I chewed on my bottom lip, confused by my sudden confidence. “That is, if you want to. You know, just as a thank you for helping the company.”

“Um, maybe.” He took off his hat and ran his fingers through his dark locks, making my heart weak. “I don’t have any plans, so sure.”

“We’ll let security know you’re coming,” Tony said before ushering me down the hall toward the private passage to the record label’s building. Probably a good thing too, before I embarrassed myself.

HIS OMEGA ON STAGE
Shifter Towers book four

Jun
For leopard cat shifter, Jun, being the rogue alpha in high school hadn’t helped him as an adult. Though he sometimes believed he was ready to find a mate, past experiences taught him that those he loves eventually leave him. So, he protects his heart by seeing omegas looking for nothing more than a one-night stand. Until he runs into someone from his past.

Ash
As the first omega signed to Adan Records, AI is anxious for the release of his debut album. Being a leopard cat shifter instead of an actual leopard like the rest of his family has always made him feel small and insignificant. But now he’s about to shine bright in front of the world, all on his own, without an alpha by his side. He doesn’t need one, and definitely doesn’t have time for one. Though when he runs into someone from his past who knows him as Ash, he wants to give this alpha all of his attention.

On Stage
But with all the problems that fame brings, will Ash be able to make a relationship work? Will Jun fight for the omega he’s sure is his fated mate? Or will they just let each other slip away, believing what they have just isn’t enough?.

  1. His insecurity is so sweet. But I'm glad Jun took him up on the invitation. That ought to be an interesting after party. :) Great snippet!

Won't be much of an after party since may are still recovering from the food poisoning incident, but it will definitely be interesting. 😉

    1. Thank you! Jun is just as confused by his own inner reactions to Ash. I'll be back in his point of view next weekend.
